Please note that there have been reports of the Papilio Loader not working under OSX Maverick.
UPDATE: There is a fix in the forum.
Woah! Papilio Loader on Mac OSX? It’s been a long time coming but the day has finally arrived! Follow this guide to get the Java based Papilio Loader GUI up and running on your Mac hardware.
Go to the Gadget Factory Download section and download the latest Mac OSX release package.
Go to the downloaded package directory, right click and open the package.
Take the defaults and enter your password.
You will see a message saying the installation was successful.
Run Papilio Loader
Go to Applications/GadgetFactory and double click on Papilio-Loader-GUI
If you do not already have a Java runtime installed it will prompt you to install one.
You should see the Papilio Loader GUI now!
Load a Bit File
Load a bit file of your choice by selecting the Target .bit file field.
Select either FPGA or SPI Flash. FPGA will load the bit file directly to the FPGA which is faster but does not stick when power is lost. SPI Flash loads the bit file to SPI Flash which will be loaded every time power is applied to the board.
Select “Run” to load the bit file.
